- Description
- We are currently looking for an Estimator for a well established growing Surfacing company in Edinburgh.
This company are on a number of frameworks and have a reputation for quality that brings back a lot of repeat business,they have performed well over the last 12 months and due to planned growth they are now looking to add an Estimator to the team.
This position would suit an experienced Surfacing Estimator with a range of experience working across various sectors (housing, commercial, retail) who can independently develop business and further grow the business, or a Junior Estimator who can confidently price jobs and is looking to grow with an established company.
Duties will include- First point of contact for tendering process and obtain material and subcontract prices
- Negotiation of contracts
- Appraisal of completed tenders
- Ensure all enquiries are correctly dealt with.
- Maintain records of tender success/failures
- Actively seek and develop new business opportunities
As the company are growing there is room to grow a team around you/progress into a senior role as they do and you will receive a competitive salary and package.
