- Description
- We are currently looking for a Buyer/Quantity Surveyor for a growing construction company to be based out of either Glasgow or Inverness.
They will look at candidates with all levels of experience ideally 2+ within Procurement, Quantity Surveying or Estimating.
They are a well established company and you will be working for the sub-contracting side of the company which operates within Groundworks and Joinery.- Duties will include
- Procurement for multiple sites
- Negotiating with suppliers & manufacturers
- Ensuring smooth running of materials and plant to site
- Updating systems and spreadsheets
- Streamlining processes to ensure free flow of information
- Performing take offs
Must be- Computer literate
- Able to read drawings
- Ideally Q.S Background or demonstrable buyer experience
They are steadily growing and foresee this role progressing into a commercial or estimating manager as you mature into the position.
You will spend the majority of the time based at the office Mon-Fri , salary is D.O.E and package will include a car allowance and 29 days holiday.
