We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well established Main Contractor who are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
You will be based out of the Edinburgh office with majority of work in the surrounding areas.
The company have a very low turn over and the position has come about due to retirement.
Daily responsibilities for the successful Surveyor will include- Commercially responsible for new build Social Housing Projects
- Internal and external measurements
- Managing costings for the project
- Working alongside Site/Project manager to bring project in within time and budget
- Procurement
Requirements for the role- Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying (MRICS MCIOB ideally)
- Main Contractor background ideally but not essential
- Commercial experience and knowledge
