Graduate Quantity Surveyor
My client is a specialist private practice working within the building industry throughout Scotland. Due to increases in market presence and repeat business, the client requires a graduate quantity surveyor to join, and work with, their commercial team.
Duties
- working with senior commercial staff
- collecting information from clients to create and process orders (including location, materials, access, power supply, health & safety considerations, working areas and more)
- material take offs from construction drawings
- costing client requirements
- confirming orders with clients
- allocating works to site crews
- working with contractors
- managing works on site and liaising with clients and work crews
- on site measurement and valuation
- confirming completion of works
