- International company with major contracts in place throughout the UK and Overseas. As part of a planned business the company is seeking an experienced Contracts Managers to join their contract management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of projects within the Airport Sector. Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, safely and to the high standard set by the company.
Duties will include:
- Representing the company in a diligent and professional company
- Working with subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments
- Winning contracts and reviewing tenders
- Managing costs and profitability
- Leading meetings with clients, suppliers and colleagues of technical and commercial natures
- Settlement of final accounts
- Organising labour, materials and Plant as part of project delivery
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management Qualification
- Black CSCS Card
- SMSTS or IOSH would be desirable but is not essential
- Thorough knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Health and Safety minded at all times
- Full UK Driving License
