- Description
- I am currently working with our client to help them fill a vacancy they have on their in house maintenance team. This position will start of temporary with the outlook of becoming permanent should it be a correct fit for both client and candidate. The client has a vast and varied stock across Edinburgh providing sheltered, amenity and care-home facilities to tenants. They offer a great workplace, incentives and a van in order for you to fulfil the work as well as a competitive salary.
The works on a day to day basis will include responding to maintenance requests from tenants and reports from surveying team. The general DIY will include, painting, tiling and general repairs. There will also likely be larger repairs and replacements of kitchen and bathroom fittings so a background in joinery or plumbing would be preferred with a competency of fitting kitchen units and bathroom suits, hanging doors etc on occasion.
