- Description
- Construction and Property Recruitment are currently seeking a Weighbridge Operator to work in Portree, Skye for a 3 month contract but could be longer term for the right person. Our client is a well respected company who has a great reputation for looking after their staff.
Your working day will involve working Monday - Friday
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the weighbridge, to ensure all waste entering the landfill site complies with licence and is correctly weighed, complete reports and returns as required.
- Ensure site is run in accordance with Health and safety legislation etc.
- Maximize and promote the amount of recycling by assisting and advising users.
- Ensure the site is opened and closed according to the licence conditions.
To be successful for this role - Willing to learn, Computer literate, work without supervision and on your own initiative. There may also be the opportunity for overtime too.
