- Description
- As a Temporary Technical Assistant for my client, you will be responsible for assisting with administration and purchase ledger. For example, registering expenses, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and assisting with various accounting tasks, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Co-ordinator. I am looking for an organised and detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage data entry tasks and ensure the smooth operation of purchase ledger tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
·Process invoices and purchase orders accurately and efficiently
·Code invoices accurately and ensure compliance with company policies
·Assist in the preparation of payment runs and send remittance to suppliers.
·Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies.
·Maintain an organised and up-to-date purchase ledger through data entry.
·File and archive documents to facilitate easy retrieval.
·Collaborate with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.
·Respond to queries both internally and externally in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
·Must have previous experience in administration.
·Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
·Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data entry.
·Must have excellent communication skills.
·Have good numerical skills.
·Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
·Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
