- As a Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant for my client, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by accurately processing purchase-related transactions. I am looking for an organised and detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage data entry tasks and ensure the smooth operation of purchase ledger. The role can be full or part time.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process and match supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts.
· Code invoices accurately and ensure compliance with company policies
· Assist in the preparation of payment runs and send remittance to suppliers.
· Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies.
· Maintain an organised and up-to-date purchase ledger through data entry.
· File and archive documents to facilitate easy retrieval.
· Collaborate with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.
· Respond to queries both internally and externally in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a purchase ledger or finance assistant role is required.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data entry.
· Have good numerical skills.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office and finance software.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
