Job Title: Fabrication Welder
Hours: Full Time, Temporary
My client is a leading engineering company nestled in the breath-taking Highlands. They are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions to complex engineering challenges, and their team of skilled professionals play a pivotal role in their success. They are currently seeking a Fabrication Welder to join our dynamic team for a temporary period.
Responsibilities:- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components to exacting standards.
- Utilise a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections to ensure work meets rigorous industry and company standards.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to meet production objectives.
- Proven experience as a Fabrication Welder.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding methods.
- Solid understanding of various metals, including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
- Exceptional ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Welding certification is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a dedication to producing top-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A firm commitment to workplace safety.
