About Us: My client is a reputable city centre hotel known for providing exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere to their guests. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for guests, making their stay truly unforgettable.
Job Description: As a Receptionist in a hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your warm and professional demeanour will set the tone for their entire stay. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Checking guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate billing and information.
- Providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with prompt and courteous responses.
- Managing reservations and ensuring accurate room assignments.
- Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Assisting in resolving guest issues and escalating when necessary.
- Maintaining security by following established procedures and monitoring access.
- Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
